How does the goalie work?

Hello,

It seems that when I hit the x botton (and I presume the B button as well) the goalie swings (usually) toward where the ball is currently loacated, but it seems to be a bit on the drunk side at times, and is somewhat unpredictible. Does anyone have any tips on how to better use the Goalie?



Please if anyone has any information about it please help me out, i've been trying to serach it everywhere but didnt find any proper solution for it, please if anyone has a proper and exact information please help me out
